Associated Global Systems (AGS) now offers Nationwide Customs Brokerage Service

New Hyde Park, NY (April 2009) - Associated Global Systems (AGS), a provider of innovative logistics solutions for over 50 years, has announced that it has received a U.S. Customs Brokerage license and has established a nationwide Customs Brokerage Division. "This expansion into Customs Brokerage combined with our existing international and domestic logistics capabilities will provide a significant advantage to importers", says Robert P. The new Customs Brokerage services will also work closely with their existing International Trade Services (AITS) to include consulting, auditing, compliance training, 10 + 2 filing and assistance with C-TPAT and other related certifications. Surety bonds and other insurance services will also be available.

The new Customs Brokerage division, headed up by Brian Wills, will be based in their New York area headquarters and will provide services across the U.S.
