The Trade Show Must Go On
The Problem:
When a trade show exhibitor learned his regular carrier (UPS) couldn’t deliver his booth in time for his show's opening, he called AGS.
It was 8:30 Friday night when a trade show exhibitor called the AGS office in Philadelphia with an unusual problem and urgent need. His trade show exhibit booth, weighing 1,300 pounds in a nine foot high crate, was stuck at UPS with no way to get it delivered to a shopping mall by 11 PM that night. The trade show was opening at 8 AM the next morning. A crew was already at the mall waiting for the booth to be delivered so they could set it up in time.
The Solution:
AGS contacted our office in Miami, which had a driver recover the crate from UPS and deliver it to the mall by 10 PM. Since the crate was too large to be moved inside the mall, the driver helped uncrate and carry the contents inside.
The Results:
Delivery problem solved: The booth arrived in time and the show was a success. Once again, AGS proved it would do "Whatever It Takes." |
